WAcky WAcKy Day

In Te Ngahere we have done a WaCKy Wednesday and all of Te Ngahere dressed up in funny and wACky things. Some of us made some costumes and some didn’t join in.  My favourite part of this wacky Wednesday is that we take photos with almost the whole class with all their colorful outfits and who I think dressed the best is probably “Mama kahsius” he looked very funny he will probably win this WAckY Wednesday and he probably put lots of effort in that costume it looks so cool.

The Science Fair Open Day.

In Te Ngahere we are doing a science fair and what I learnt well making a slideshow for our science fair board is our hypothesis, variables and method. The variables I learnt was independent variables and dependent variables are what we measure and what control variables are they are variables that you can’t change and what a independent variable  is where we store our lemons and fruit anything that you are have to store and a dependent variable is we have to get the stuff at the same time and in same size and also what we did is we put our lemons in the fridge, pantry, outside, fruit bowl and that's what I learnt and what I also learnt was a method it's just the same as independent variables but you have to take photos every two Days. we also have to squeeze them to see how squishy they are and how hard they are also. I also learnt about hypothesis is, we have to guess what will happen or what and that's what I learnt for science fair open day.

The Trip To Bay Of Island College

 In Te Ngahere we went to a Kawakawa roadshow at Bay Of Island College. We had three activities to go through. The first activity we went through was a show and we also went and looked at the exhibits and I went to look at the honey exhibit because I wanted to know why we had to learn about honey. Then when me,Savitri, Ana went to the honey exhibit I found out that there were different kinds of honey. I only got to taste one but it tasted like normal honey and it had different colors. One was light yellow and dark yellow and medium yellow and then we went to the other exhibit and it at this exhibit that you had turn the wheel and then it turned white and you had to put this board on the wheel to make it turn white. There were different kinds of boards to put on the wheel. There were dark kinds of boards and when we put the dark board on the wheel we spun it and then it turned brown.

Lessons How To Enjoy Your Holiday

 Kia ora I will be telling you what I did on this holiday, this holiday I played with my cousins and my niece because my niece came over and stayed for three nights. We had to play outside and sometimes we had to help clean the house because there were four of us. The house was messy and then we cleaned it when we finished cleaning we could go back outside to play. Me and my cousin Jayden played roblox. We played together it was fun we played brookhaven,  fashion famous, we played prison life, twilight daycare and obbys I had fun playing with my cousin.

 In Te Ngahere we were trying to calbarate and when we done our second attempt we worked well but when we mikaila and I had to go outside to look at the drawing we were  not aloud to point at the piece it was challenging to say where to put it we dident  work well because we kept on yelling what to draw at the drawer what to draw it was very challenging but we had A Lot of fun because we had to work together we had to try tell the drawer what to draw and what corner to draw in Is drawing cool?

The Scary Tsunami Evacuation

 

Hi my name is Indie. Last Friday morning we just woke up and then I realized it was my brother’s birthday. We rang him and then we heard that there was a Tsunami evacuation! I was scared and l was worried about school. l had to go to Oromahoe with my sister in the car. We rang my other sister and then we needed to leave to find my dad in the van. Then we found my dad and went to Kaikohe to go to my aunt's house. We left when the Tsunami evacuation ended. everyone went home. After that, we were all  happy and  at least everyone was safe.
